Marketing Lancashire has chosen Old Docks House as its new headquarters.

Promoting the county nationally and internationally and helping to build the leisure and business economies, Marketing Lancashire’s move has put Old Docks House back at the heart of supporting Lancashire-based businesses.

This prestigious agency is charged with promoting the county on a national and international stage. A not for profit organisation working in the interest of a prosperous Lancashire. They reinvest all Partner fees into promotional activity for the county to develop Lancashire into a leading leisure, learning and business destination for domestic and international visitors, to enhance the national and international reputation of the county and promote sustainable economic development and growth.

Their choice to relocate to Prestons Old Docks House is very apt as it is one of Preston’s most iconic buildings.

Originally built in 1936, it was the administration centre for activities at the Port of Preston which used to play an important part in the county’s economy before its closure 37 years ago.
